We are currently looking for a Social Media Specialist. This is a remote role.
JOB SUMMARY:
This position resides within the social media Team (Orlando) and is responsible for assisting with the reporting and workflows for earned and paid media platforms. The primary objective of this role is to provide reporting and listening support for the social media brand accounts. They also will provide support for ideation and moderation. The role will need to be on intimate terms with the inner workings of all major social platforms and know how to fashion reports within tools such as Sprinklr. Responsibilities include building comprehensive reporting dashboards and listening queries to help build team credibility and educate internal stakeholders. Additionally, this position will be required to employ sound decision-making skills to aid in the management of multiple active social media accounts on a day-to-day basis on behalf of the brand.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To be successful in this role, the Specialist, Social Media must be an excellent collaborator, self-starter and well-organized. They should have experience navigating tight timelines, spearheading high-visibility initiatives, deducing insights from data and always seek to identify opportunities for improvement. They must possess an ability to adapt their communication style, content, and medium to suit the audience being served.
- Proficiency in analyzing social media data using tools like Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, or Sprinklr Analytics.
- Ability to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as engagement rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates across social platforms.
- Experience creating detailed reports summarizing social media performance, trends, and actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Familiarity with major social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn) and their analytics features.
- Optimize social media content based on data-driven insights to improve reach, engagement, and conversions.
- Ability to set up and track social media campaigns, including UTM parameters and conversion tracking.
- Understand how social media impacts search engine optimization (SEO) and incorporate relevant keywords and hashtags.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings effectively.
- Perform ad-hoc social media related projects as requested by management.
- Proficiency in using tools like Brandwatch, or Sprinklr to monitor and analyze brand mentions, sentiment, and customer conversations across social channels. Ability to extract actionable insights from social media conversations and adapt strategies accordingly.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- A minimum of 2-3 years social media analyst experience
- Strong oral communication skills and an understanding of what should be communicated to different audiences
- Ability to work in a team and assist in the execution of social media requests within an expedited timeframe
- Have a working knowledge of Sprinklr
- Skilled using MS Office applications.
