CSR/Client Advocate - Veterinary Hospital

Winter Park Veterinary Hospital
Winter Park, FL Full Time
POSTED ON 12/14/2024
AVAILABLE BEFORE 2/4/2025

Outstanding Client Advocate or CSR:

Your vet clinic was bought by a Corporate group. They told you nothing would change, but boy, did that turn out to not be true! If you’re tired of feeling like a number working for corporate-owned clinics that don’t appreciate the very real challenges of being the face and voice of the practice, you might want to talk to us!

Winter Park Veterinary Hospital is a 40-year-old family-owned practice specializing in cats, dogs, reptiles, avians, pocket pets, wildlife and SO much more! (How about a capybara, red fox pup, bald eagle, parrot fish and a wallaby for an unusual factor!)

We're looking for an outgoing, empathetic and highly skilled Client Advocates to round out our team of Client Advocates. Two years of experience in a veterinary environment is mandatory! Vet Techs who are looking for a way to step back from the physical nature of the industry but still want to keep their skills and work in the vet field are especially welcome!

Our CSRs were great, but we decided to help them take it to the next level. They’ve taken on new roles as liaisons between clients and the rest of the medical staff—becoming true CLIENT ADVOCATES. Every pet parent that walks through our door knows that they have a CA to be their voice as their furry, scaly or feathered family member is provided the highest level of veterinary care.

If you’re looking for the next step in your career, if you feel satisfaction in:

  • Educating clients and giving them options at a significantly higher level,
  • Communicating and problem-solving at all levels of the hospital as you advocate fort your client,
  • Successfully supporting pet parents through what can be a complicated and stressful process filled with unknowns.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

By the way, salaries at WPVH typically range in the top quarter of comparable pay in Central Florida. Pay is almost entirely dependent on your experience, skills and ability to work well with our fast-paced teams. We have a robust benefits package including multi-pet discounts, a retirement savings program, health/vision/disability, continuing education, and much more!

WHAT MAKES US UNIQUE? We do it all (almost)! (We even set a tarantula’s broken leg!)

WPVH is one of the largest veterinary hospitals in the region. It is owned by the Hess family and has been in business since 1955. They took it over 39 years ago and it remains one of a dwindling number of vet hospitals that isn’t owned by large corporations.

We’re a 7-day-a-week, 10-doctor practice with specialties in advanced ultrasound, some orthopedics, eastern and holistic medicine. We have a separate Wellness Center on campus, as well as Urgent and Emergency Care at the main hospital Saturday and Sunday afternoon and evening. We are are also advocates of the Gentle Pet Approach.

COMMUNITY:

We think it’s critical that we give back to the community and do so in a wide variety of ways. Here are just two: WPVH has been the primary veterinary services provider for the Florida Audubon Society for over 29 years. We also are a wildlife intake facility where we stabilize animals and birds so they can be released for continuing care with our rehabilitation partners.

If this sounds interesting, and if you’re up for a significant upgrade in your job, please send your resume and a cover letter telling us why you think you might fit the bill! We’re looking forward to hearing from you!

PLEASE, WE CAN ONLY CONSIDER CANDIDATES WHO MEET OUR REQUIREMENTS:

* Veterinary customer care OR Vet Tech experience
