Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher/Busser/Entry Level Prep Cook to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role is essential in maintaining cleanliness and efficiency within the kitchen and dining areas. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and a commitment to providing excellent support to our culinary and front-of-house teams.
Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment to ensure a clean kitchen environment.
- Assist in bussing tables, clearing away used dishes, and resetting tables for new guests.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, dining area, and restrooms throughout the shift.
- Help with food preparation as needed, supporting cooks and chefs during busy periods.
- Ensure that all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations.
- Assist with catering events or banquets as required, ensuring all service areas are well-stocked and organized.
Skills
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and sanitation.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented atmosphere while managing multiple tasks.
- Basic knowledge of food handling practices is beneficial.
