DESCRIPTION
The role of the Credentialing and Onboarding Specialist will work collaboratively with the CCNBI manager to streamline Client and Employee onboarding and support the firm's initiatives to centralize all legal professional's credentials.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (Including, but not limited to):
- Verify and maintain credentials, including licenses, certifications, memberships, and continuing education requirements.
- Maintain accurate records, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Monitor credential expiration dates and initiate renewal processes in a timely manner to prevent lapses.
- Coordinate with internal resources and external entities to obtain necessary documentation and updates for credentials.
- Identify opportunities for streamlining credentialing processes and improving efficiency.
- Pre-screen and process lateral hire conflict reports, identifying potential conflicts for firm General Counsel.
- Onboard new Clients and Employees through Intapp workflows.
- Other duties as assigned, which could include backing up other members of the CCNBI department.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
COMPETENCIES (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES) REQUIRED:
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks effectively, ensuring completion of assignments despite frequent interruptions and changes in schedule.
- Professional interpersonal skills; ability to effectively interface with attorneys, management, business professionals, and outside contacts.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Dependable, accountable, and consistently demonstrating a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a variety of personalities and work styles.
- Job duties may require time over 37.50 hours per week.
QUALIFICATIONS, REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience
- Previous law firm experience
- Knowledge of CLE requirements (experience with PLI and/or Strafford a plus)
- Excellent computer and communication skills.
- Experience with the following software: MS Office.
- Excellent grammar, proofreading skills, and a keen eye for detail, ensuring high levels of accuracy in all written communications and document preparation.
QUALIFICATIONS, PREFERRED:
- Experience with the following software: Elite/3E, iManage
- Experience with Intapp: Conflicts, Flow, and/or Intake
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Requires use of office equipment, such as computers, phones, and copiers.
- Requires sitting and computer-related activities for extended periods of time.
- Requires occasional lifting up to and exceeding 20 pounds.
SALARY & BENEFITS
Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $60,000-80,000 annually.
Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Winthrop & Weinstine reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualifications of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
