Role: Enterprise Architect
Position Overview
The Enterprise Architect is responsible for the overall architectural design, development, and deployment of an organization's IT infrastructure and ensures that the architecture aligns with business goals and objectives. This role involves a deep understanding of enterprise technologies, business practices, and the ability to develop strategies that drive technological innovation and support the business needs.
Architect responsible for providing technical leadership in all datacentre projects/solutions with depth of knowledge of specified multiple technological areas. This includes knowledge of various integrated systems and platforms like Compute, Storage, Backup, Databases, Middleware, Network, Security, Batch Job processing and End User services in DC, Cloud and Hybrid Cloud Infra tools and business applications.
Will be responsible for defining and documenting architecture, capturing, and documenting non-functional (architectural) requirements (SOW/CR), prepare estimates and defining technical solutions to proposals with commercial analysis. Ownership of the solution from kick-off till handover to operations team transversions through the phase of conceptualization, incubation, design, POC, Implementation, hand-off.
- Architectural Design and Strategy: Develop, implement, and maintain the enterprise architecture across the organization, ensuring alignment with the business strategy and objectives. Drive the vision and innovation, standards, development process and systems architecture. Architecture and design ownership for the new projects in various technology areas.
- Technology Roadmaps: Create and manage technology roadmaps that guide the organization in adopting cutting-edge technologies and optimizing existing systems. Develop comprehensive strategic reference architectures for infrastructure and/or enterprise architecture disciplines.
- Solution Evaluation: Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, tools, and frameworks that meet the current and future needs of the business, including tech stack, performance & other non-functional perspective. Work with pre-sales, practice, COE, and OEM/partners to come up with new proposal with commercial analysis. Build PoCs / Demos to demonstrate solution accelerators and differentiated value propositions. Present technically sound proposals indicated by depth of scoping, completeness of solution, options explored, creativity / differentiation of solution recommended.
- Solution Proposition: Drive new solution development based on technology architecture and design. Respond to RFIs, RFPs and Pro-active proposals with solution sizing, efforts, and cost estimates for proposed solutions. Define and present service offerings, value propositions, solution accelerators for identified sectors. Prepare collaterals, whitepapers on the proposed offerings / accelerators and market the idea internally and externally. Creation of SOW, HLD, LLD, for the projects as applicable, get it done from individual tower architects or enable through practice support.
- Standards and Governance: Establish and enforce architectural standards, best practices, and governance policies to ensure system quality, security, and integrity.
- Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams, business units, and stakeholders to understand requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure seamless integration of systems. Collaborate with Pre-sales, SMU & Account teams to generate opportunities / leads for the identified sectors / SMUs / Accounts.
- Project Support: Support the project kick offs, design handover, implementation, and resource planning for the new projects (from SOW perspective)
- Lead all communications with relevant stake holders and customers.

- Technical Project Handling: Datacenter and Cloud Transformation and Migration Projects for efficient Solution to Delivery (Plan, Design, Execution, handover to operations)
- Service Delivery: Awareness of Infrastructure Management based on ITIL service delivery methodology.
- Customer Relation Management: High customer satisfaction through Periodic Reviews, ARB meetings, Design/Sizing escalations and Service Improvement initiatives.
- People Management: Hiring, Goal Setting, Performance Review, Mentoring and Motivating Architects/SME/Design team.
- Vendor Management: Solution sizing, Pricing, Solution evaluation, comparative options, support procurement management.
- Quality Management: Solution implementation process and Documentation.
Expected annual pay for this role ranges from USD 80000/annum to USD 158000/annum. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.”

Salary : $80,000 - $158,000
