Job Description:
Wired UP Solutions is looking for an experienced Project Manager with expertise in both construction site management and low voltage systems to oversee and coordinate the installation of low voltage wiring projects. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing on-site activities, ensuring the safe and efficient installation of security, networking, and audio-visual systems. You’ll collaborate closely with field teams, including general laborers and technicians, to make sure that projects stay on track, are within budget, and meet all safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations on construction sites for low voltage system installations.
- Supervise and work alongside a team of installers and laborers, ensuring work is completed efficiently and with high-quality results.
- Manage project timelines and schedules to ensure milestones are met.
- Review project plans and blueprints to ensure the proper execution of low voltage wiring installations.
- Ensure that all work complies with safety regulations and company standards.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, vendors, and subcontractors, addressing issues and providing updates.
- Troubleshoot and resolve on-site challenges by coordinating with team members for system diagnostics.
- Maintain detailed records of project progress, material usage, and labor hours.
- Ensure the proper maintenance and care of tools and equipment used on-site.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in construction project management, preferably with low voltage installations.
- Strong understanding of construction site safety protocols and procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Familiarity with low voltage systems, such as security, networking, and audio-visual setups.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple projects effectively.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Reliable transportation to travel to and from job sites.
- Required: Hands-on experience with low voltage installations and managing construction crews and contractors.
Work Schedule:
- Minimum 20 hours per week, with the potential for more depending on workload.
- Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work as needed.
Pay:
- $25.00 - $31.00 per hour (depending on experience).
Expected Hours:
- 20-40 hours per week, based on project needs.
