Instructional Position
Subject: Intellectual Disability (IND)
Exceptional Student Education (ESE)
Individual instruction of modified curriculum in all academic subject areas
Homebound setting 240 mins weekly in the student's home
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for organizing and implementing an instructional program to meet the needs of students who are unable to attend school for medical reasons through curriculum, lesson plans, and educational programs, while ensuring that all procedures are followed to maintain safety and security and to meet federal, state, and local regulations.
EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in the field of Exceptional Student Education, or related field
- OR
- Approval by or participation in a state-approved certification pathway program
- Valid Florida Educator’s Certificate in Exceptional Student Education (ESE) and Elementary Education
