We are recruiting for an experienced Sales Trainer interested in joining our expanding organization. The successful candidate comes to us with a proven track record in the development and training of outside Sales professionals.
Position is based at our US headquarters located in Richardson, TX.
The Role
The Sales Trainer is responsible and accountable for ensuring that all newly hired and tenured outside Sales professionals are fully trained in sales techniques, Company products and processes through the utilization of classroom and field-based training. Additional key responsibilities include
- Conduct training with newly hired / promoted outside Sales staff ensuring they receive comprehensive knowledge of the Company, its products, customers, CRM and related systems and internal Sales related processes.
- May revise current Sales training material or develop additional training modules for Sales and / or other internal departments as needed and in collaboration with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevance of training content.
- In conjunction with line Managers, conduct skills and knowledge assessments to identify training needs and gaps of existing Sales staff.
- Provides training to Sales employees and management on the use of the Allego sales enablement platform and monitors utilization of the system by all Sales staff.
- Schedule and execute in field training / assessments with all newly hired and tenured Sales staff. Provide feedback and assessment information to the employee’s line Manager.
- Measure the effectiveness of the training programs through assessments and feedback and monitoring data on performance post training.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in training and development to enhance program effectiveness.
- Manage training logistics and scheduling along with maintaining training records.
- Highlight training needs from performance data, sales metrics with Line Manager, Sales Manager and VP.
