Job Overview:
Wisco Feeds is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Feed Mill Administrative Coordinator to support daily operations by managing purchasing, accounting, and customer service functions. This role requires strong communication skills, accuracy in data entry, and the ability to anticipate customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Purchasing & Inventory Management:
- Forecast customer needs and ensure timely product availability.
- Create and manage purchase orders (POs), including emailing, calendar tracking, and mill receiving documentation.
- Oversee daily product receiving and data entry to maintain accurate inventory records.
Accounts Payable (AP):
- Enter invoices accurately and serve as the point of contact for vendor-related inquiries.
Accounts Receivable (AR) & Customer Service:
- Process customer payments and handle deposits efficiently.
- Follow up on outstanding customer accounts to ensure timely payments.
- Prepare and print invoices and statements for distribution.
- Manage customer grain accounting, including scale ticket processing.
Data Entry & Administrative Support:
- Accurately enter external mix orders into the system.
- Maintain organized records of financial and operational transactions.
- Assist with other miscellaneous administrative and data entry tasks as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience in administrative, accounting, or customer service roles (feed/agriculture industry experience preferred).
- Strong proficiency in data entry, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word), and accounting software.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
