Position Overview:
The Cellar/Blending team member at Wisconsin Brewing Company plays an important role in the daily operations of the cellar, focusing on tasks such as Centrifuge and Blending operations, yeast management, and equipment maintenance. This position requires a meticulous individual with a keen eye for detail and the ability to adapt to dynamic schedules.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize fermenters, tanks, blending vessels, hoses, and pumps.
- Set up and operate mixers, scales, meters, and pumps.
- Perform regular maintenance on cellar equipment, collaborating with the maintenance team as needed.
- Receive and manage tanker deliveries of raw materials.
- Maintain accurate records for quality control purposes.
- Conduct Blending and Centrifuge operations efficiently.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Ability to problem solve and adapt quickly to changing schedules.
- Capacity to lift 60lbs consistently.
- Strong attention to detail and adeptness in following instructions.
Education and Training:
Preferred experience in commercial beverage or food production, janitorial duties, or kitchen/culinary tasks.
