Under limited progressing to general supervision of the Corrections Unit Supervisor, the incumbent will review inmates’ needs; develop, monitor and revise case plans; document inmates’ progress; provide professional counseling; co-facilitate primary programming, and refer inmates for appropriate institution transfer or to community resources upon release. The purpose of this position is to provide professional case management and to coordinate internal and external services to inmates in accordance to rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
The Social Worker shall comply with the Department’s administrative rules and the agency’s policies and procedures including those related to the Department's overall Reentry philosophy of using evidence-based strategies, practices and programs which target an inmate’s individual criminogenic needs and risk level.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38,160.38 - $84,591.12 per year
