We’re on the hunt for a motivated Business Development and Outside Sales pro to help us expand our reach across precision Machining, Stamping, Tooling, and Sheet Metal Fabrication services. You’ll be the face of our brand—building relationships, managing key accounts, uncovering opportunities, and helping customers succeed.
What You'll Do:
- Be on the front lines of sales and relationship-building, driving new customer acquisition and leading account qualifications.
- Own a mix of inside and outside sales, with a strong emphasis on prospecting, networking, and in-person relationship development.
- Collaborate with our estimating and operations teams to align customer needs with capabilities—and close the deal.
- Manage and grow key accounts while helping shape the customer experience model.
- Travel ~30%, mostly in the Midwest, with some national trips based on opportunity.
What You Bring:
- 3 years of sales experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, ideally with exposure to selling within a precision Machining, Stamping, Tooling environment.
- A knack for relationship-building and a natural curiosity for solving problems.
- Mechanical and manufacturing aptitude.
- Comfortable with CRM systems, sales pipelines, and modern sales practices.
- Experience balancing inside/outside sales responsibilities.
- Ability to travel 30-40% locally and as needed, nationally.
- Formal sales training (e.g., Sandler, Miller Heiman).
- Experience working closely with estimating or quoting teams.
- Natural ability to lead with a commitment to strong values, partnership & customer experience mentality.
