Position Summary: The youth leader, under the direction of the Summer Enrichment Manager and MSU Director, supports a recreational and educational summer program for middle school students. Primary responsibilities of the position are to provide direct supervision to assigned groups of students and support course instructors. Other responsibilities include support for the overall maintenance of the program site, recreational program planning and fostering positive relationships with students, school personnel, and the community.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Must be 18 years old
- Has completed high school or GED
- Enjoys being active
- Feels confident in their ability to safely supervise a group of children
- Has experience working with middle school aged children

Middle School U Youth Leader:
This is a summer position with the option to join our school year team
Up to $18 per hour, pay is based on education and experience
Full-time, 30-40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, June 16-August 15, with the option to work August 18-22
Required training takes place in May and June
