What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scheduling Coordinator (Healthcare) position at Wise Medical Staffing, Inc.?
The Scheduling Coordinator under the supervision of the Department Manager assists with the labor management process in the center based on established daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly routines to ensure employee and facility satisfaction. They must have the ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines; be accurate, concise and detail-oriented; and able to operate a personal computer.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain a current listing of employee contact numbers for call-in.
- Develop/post work schedules per facility standards/client standards in advance.
- Notify Staffing Manager of short staffing situations.
- Contact replacement personnel and modify schedule when required.
- Coordinate with DON/HHC to secure contract labor when necessary.
- Coordinate time-off requests with the DON/HHC.
- Maintain records of employees who miss shifts; produce reports.
- Conduct job responsibilities in accordance with the Company's Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, appropriate professional standards and applicable state/federal laws
- Maintains center coverage at all times. Reviews and tracks requests for time off. Coordinates scheduling changes with management.
