Job Overview:

As an RN, LPN, or CNA, you will provide high-quality care and assistance to patients in long term care. These positions play an essential role in patient recovery and wellbeing, with opportunities to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal care.

Responsibilities:

Registered Nurse (RN):

• Provide direct patient care and assist in developing individual care plans based on patient assessments.
• Administer medications, monitor responses, and manage IV therapy and other treatments.
• Assess patient conditions, document progress, and make critical care decisions in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare providers.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, procedures, and health management.
• Supervise and mentor LPNs and CNAs to ensure quality of care.
• Coordinate and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with health care regulations and safety standards.
  
  
  

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Provide basic nursing care under the supervision of RNs and physicians, including administering medications and treatments.
• Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and patient conditions.
• Assist with patient hygiene, mobility, and daily activities.
• Document patient care and report any changes in patient status to RNs and physicians.
• Provide patient education and support to families regarding care and recovery plans.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of patient care areas.
  
  
  

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA):

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Take and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
• Transport patients to and from rooms, therapy sessions, and other areas within the facility.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and families.
• Report any changes in patient conditions to nursing staff.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, including the proper handling of medical equipment and supplies.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

Registered Nurse (RN):

• Active state RN license.
• BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) preferred, or an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Current BLS/CPR certification; ACLS/PALS preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  
  
  

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Active state LPN license.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Strong clinical skills and a passion for patient care.
• Ability to work effectively in both independent and team-based environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  
  
  

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA):

• Active state CNA certification.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
