Responsibilities:
Registered Nurse (RN):
- Provide direct patient care and assist in developing individual care plans based on patient assessments.
- Administer medications, monitor responses, and manage IV therapy and other treatments.
- Assess patient conditions, document progress, and make critical care decisions in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare providers.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, procedures, and health management.
- Supervise and mentor LPNs and CNAs to ensure quality of care.
- Coordinate and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with health care regulations and safety standards.
- Provide basic nursing care under the supervision of RNs and physicians, including administering medications and treatments.
- Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and patient conditions.
- Assist with patient hygiene, mobility, and daily activities.
- Document patient care and report any changes in patient status to RNs and physicians.
- Provide patient education and support to families regarding care and recovery plans.
- Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of patient care areas.
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Take and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
- Transport patients to and from rooms, therapy sessions, and other areas within the facility.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and families.
- Report any changes in patient conditions to nursing staff.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, including the proper handling of medical equipment and supplies.
Registered Nurse (RN):
- Active state RN license.
- BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) preferred, or an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Current BLS/CPR certification; ACLS/PALS preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Active state LPN license.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- Strong clinical skills and a passion for patient care.
- Ability to work effectively in both independent and team-based environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Active state CNA certification.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required.
