CNC-LATHE MACHINE OPERATOR

Location : Russellville, AL

SHIFT TIME : 5am- 3 : 30pm MON-THURS (Some overtime may be required)

PAY RATE : $17.25 hr.-$18.00 hr. BOE-based on experience

Well established manufacturing company in Russellville, AL is looking for an experienced and reliable full time CNC Lathe Machinist for our first shift.

DUTIES & REQUIREMENTS :

  • Operate all shop equipment in a safe manner, setup and clean mill tooling and change overs of mill tooling.
  • Setup of mill dies.
  • Rebuild tooling as needed, Sharpen and maintain tooling as required.

Experience :

  • 2-3 years working experience in a machine shop environment with hands on experience.
  • Experience with CNC Lathe Machinist
  • Operate lathe and surface grinder.

    • Education :

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Trade School preferred

    • Other :

  • Must be able to lift 40lb roll tooling.
  • Print reading / ability to use precision measurement tools (calipers and micrometers)
  • Basic Operate all shop equipment in a safe manner.
  • Knowledge of programming mills to make adjustments.
  • Ability to read and understand setup charts for tooling changeovers.
