Job Description
- Associate’s degree in Materials Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field preferred, with at least five years working experience in production scheduling or inventory control in a manufacturing environment. If no degree, 7 years’ experience in related field.
- Experience applying JIT, 5S, and other Lean Manufacturing methodologies under a continuous improvement (Kaizen) philosophy.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office programs.
- Experience with AS400, PowerLink / XA, inventory management systems, back flush locations and materials transfers required. Knowledge of, or experience in, designing, development, and / or implementing cycle count systems.
- Must be able to work self-directed in a fast paced environment. Ability to seamlessly transition between working independently to working as part of a team is required.
