Chamfer Equipment Operator (Willing to Train)
Job Description: Wise Staffing Group is seeking individuals with machine operator experience, or those willing to learn, for a Chamfer Equipment Operator position. We are committed to providing training and support to help you excel in this role.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Setup and run chamfering equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs), work orders, and special instructions.
- Monitor and inspect material throughout the production process.
- Collaborate with fellow employees to maintain quality, efficiency, and safety.
- Clean and maintain machinery, tools, and work areas.
- Keep accurate records in compliance with SOPs and work instructions.
- Identify and report any non-conformance conditions.
- Perform testing of samples to ensure compliance with manufacturing standards.
- Exhibit safety awareness and adhere to all safety practices.
- Carry out quality control through 1st piece and final inspection.
- Understand all environmental policies, following the ISO 140001 standard.
- Consistently lift up to 40 pounds during the shift.
- Ability to bend, twist, and perform repetitive movements.
Qualifications:
- Previous machine operator experience preferred, but not required (Willing to Train).
- Ability to demonstrate mechanical and mathematical abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Must follow SOPs, labels, and instructions diligently.
