Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing orders for shipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Duties
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment based on customer requests.
- Use handheld scanners or other equipment to track inventory and ensure order accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure stock levels are maintained.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory to management promptly.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating warehouse equipment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
