Position: Help Desk Technician
We are seeking a skilled Help Desk Technician to join our team. In this role, you will provide exceptional technical support, troubleshoot issues across various operating systems, and help maintain seamless IT operations for our clients. You will be traveling onsite to troubleshoot, fix issues and you will be interacting with our client. We are open to a part-time or a full-time employee.
Working directly under the IT Lead, you’ll manage daily support requests, resolve onsite issues, setup new user hardware, reprovision assets, ship assets and ensure our clients’ technology runs smoothly. This position will be based off the PST time zone, and you will need to live in the Orange County area.
Key Responsibilities
- Provision and set up new hires with necessary hardware and software
- Handle device onboarding and offboarding, ensuring proper access and workstation setups
- Address user tickets, troubleshooting issues related to hardware, software, and basic networking
- Guide users through the installation of applications, hardware and peripherals
- Perform onsite troubleshooting, offering clear, step-by-step instructions
- Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate support team members
- Follow up with users to confirm their systems are functioning properly
- Assist in the creation of technical documentation and user manuals
- Manage and update the inventory management system
- Travel onsite to support end users with issues and new hire setups
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Expertise in troubleshooting and supporting Windows, Linux, and Mac OS environments
- Ability to diagnose and solve technical issues
- Strong multitasking abilities with a customer-first attitude
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Preferred Knowledge and Experience
Familiarity with the following technologies is highly preferred:

- Microsoft 365 Suite: Admin Center, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, Teams, OneNote, SharePoint
- Atlassian Tools: Jira, Confluence

- SSO (Single Sign-On) Solutions
- Operating Systems: Windows 10/11, Mac OSX, Android, iOS
Qualifications
- Strong background in desktop computer support, troubleshooting, and repair
- Excellent technical support skills, with experience managing help desk requests
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment
- Certifications such as CompTIA A or other relevant IT credentials (a plus)
