We are seeking a Remote Tax & Estate Planning Attorney with strong client engagement skills and expertise in estate planning, trusts, and tax law. The ideal candidate will have a passion for guiding clients through complex estate planning strategies while ensuring they understand their options and the legal implications of their choices.
Key Responsibilities:- Client Consultation & Strategy Development: Conduct virtual consultations with clients to assess their estate planning needs and recommend appropriate legal strategies.
- Estate Planning Document Preparation & Review: Draft, review, and finalize estate planning documents, including revocable and irrevocable trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and related legal instruments.
- Tax & Probate Guidance: Advise clients on tax implications related to estate planning and asset protection. Assist in probate matters when applicable.
- Compliance & Legal Updates: Stay current on federal and state estate planning laws, tax codes, and probate regulations to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Client Education & Sales Presentation: Effectively communicate estate planning concepts, ensuring clients understand their options and feel confident in their decisions.
- Collaboration & Remote Work: Work closely with a team of legal professionals and support staff to provide seamless service to clients in a fully remote environment.
✅ Licensed Attorney: Must be actively licensed and in good standing in at least one U.S. state.
✅ Estate Planning Expertise: Minimum of 3 years of experience in estate planning, trust drafting, and probate law (5 years preferred).
✅ Sales & Client Engagement Skills: Ability to explain estate planning strategies clearly and persuasively to clients.
✅ Technical Proficiency: Experience with estate planning and tax software preferred.
✅ Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
✅ Availability: Open to working flexible hours, including some weekends, to accommodate client schedules.
