We are seeking an entry level Associate Attorney with background or a strong interest in land use, zoning, and municipal law to join our Municipal Practice Group. This role offers a collaborative environment where you will work closely with experienced attorneys and clients across Montgomery, Bucks and Chester Counties in Pennsylvania.
Responsibilities
- Handle or assist with legal matters related to comprehensive planning, land use, zoning, and code enforcement.
- Attend municipal meetings, zoning hearing board hearings, and code enforcement proceedings, including evening meetings.
- Handle day-to-day transactional matters such as contract review, ordinance and resolution drafting as well as labor and employment issues.
- Litigation experience in any of the above areas is preferred, not required.
- Significant direct client interaction.
- Conduct in-depth legal research on planning, zoning, and property rights issues, interpreting statutes, judicial ruling, and regulatory codes.
- In-depth research and drafting of briefs for land use appeals.
