Job Description
The Document Control Specialist works closely with the Quality Assurance Department to ensure compliance with current FDA regulations and provide support to the department through management of Food Safety and Quality documents.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
Creating, maintaining, updating and releasing all related documentation for Quality Assurance
and Production.
Ensure that change notices obtain the required level of review and approval, and that the required actions and implementation instructions are properly documented and carried out.
Verify that all items requiring revision control have been correctly entered into the document
control system, and that they are properly linked to ensure full traceability.
Assist project managers to develop and maintain documents and other records such as meeting
minutes, specifications, approvals and related items.
Create reports of in process change notices and assist in closing actions out in a timely manner.
Process requests for information, retrieve files and other records as required and lead the efforts to keep the document control system in compliance.
Train employees on records management procedures and policies, which include documentation, retention, retrieval and destruction.
Requirements
