WREC is one of the largest electric cooperatives in the US with over 240,000 members and over 10,000 miles of distribution and sub-transmission line. WREC’s service area is located along Florida’s Nature Coast in Pasco, Hernando, and Citrus counties and is conveniently situated between Tampa, Orlando, and the gulf beaches.
This position is designed to provide exposure to various departments and projects allowing the ability to apply academic knowledge in a real-world setting. It will also provide the chance to gain valuable hands-on experience at a dynamic and innovative distribution utility by collaborating with experienced professionals, contributing to meaningful projects, and developing a diverse skill set in electric distribution engineering.
