Position Summary:
Witmer Wood Products is seeking a highly motivated and organized Office Manager to join our team. In this dynamic role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the smooth and efficient operation of our business.
Responsibilities:
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, including answering phone calls, emails, responding to inquiries, and resolving customer issues.
Logistics: Assist with order-to-production processing, shipping coordination, and inventory management.
Procurement: Support procurement activities, including placing orders.
General Administration: Handle various administrative duties, such as data entry, filing, and maintaining office records.
Support Sales & Operations: Contribute to improving operational efficiency and enhancing customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Essential:
Strong customer service and communication skills (both written and verbal)
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong data entry and typing skills (touch typing required)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Self-starter with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude
Comfortable answering phones and interacting with customers
Preferred:
Experience with inventory management systems
Experience in the manufacturing or construction industry
Familiarity with fractions and basic math calculations
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Previous experience in shipping or assembly is a plus but not required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
