Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting daily operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of the office. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in various administrative tasks. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for managing time wisely, providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders, entering order into systems, printing order tickets for processing, faxing and making copies, processing merchandise returns, checking inventory, filing and other duties as they arise. This position does have the possibility to turn into full time.
Responsibilities
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently to maintain up-to-date records.
- Coordinate various projects, ensuring timelines are met and resources are allocated effectively.
- Proofread documents for grammar, punctuation, and formatting errors before distribution.
- Manage office supplies inventory and assist with general office management tasks.
- Respond to customer inquiries professionally, providing assistance or directing them to the appropriate department.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote productivity within the office environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in an administrative role or similar position is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook Calendar, Word, and Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Attention to detail is essential for data entry, proofreading, and project coordination tasks.
- A customer-focused attitude with strong problem-solving abilities.
