CHIEF OBJECTIVES OF THIS POSITION:
The Production Manager’s primary objective is to develop precise and comprehensive proposals for large-scale events ensuring all technical, logistical, and budgetary aspects are meticulously planned. This role is critical to aligning client visions with feasible, high-quality execution strategies while maintaining cost efficiency. Duties also include communicating with internal and external stakeholders and vendors; conducting site visits; using Flex Rental Solutions software to create proposals, and purchase orders; and making presentations to project managers outlining their suggestions for upcoming projects.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
CUSTOMER SATISFACTION
Quickly respond to customer requests
Ensure that estimates meet clients’ expectations
Participate in client meetings to gather job information
PROJECT INITIATION
Analyze labor, materials, and time requirements for each project.
Create an initial narrative scope of work for each project.
Deliver a consistent and well-defined estimate.
Pre-event site visits and event visits with the team.
Work with vendors for subrental quotes.
Handoff confirmed quotes to internal stakeholders in a manner that ensured a successful production.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in event production.
Working knowledge of Audio, video, lighting, rigging, power & staging.
Ability to accurately price large format printing and scenic fabrication.
Previous estimating and/or quote writing experience for large productions.
Superb track record delivering service excellence.
Superior written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient use of Flex Rental Solutions software.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
A team player.
Ability to work flexible hours.
Working on-call as needed, with occasional weekend work.
Travel is required and is primarily local for site visits.
Extremely organized and able to meet strict deadlines.
Must be able to manage multiple projects at the same time.
