Job Description:
The Quality Engineer is responsible for analyzing and assessing field returns and in-process non-confirming product. He/she conducts root cause analysis and implements corrective actions to address the defects identified and to discern quality defect patterns associated with a specific product, component or manufacturing process.
This role involves monitoring and improving the efficiency, output and safety of manufacturing processes through observations and measurements as well as by collecting and interpreting data from other technical and operating personnel.
- Create/edit/maintain necessary documentation
- Equipment calibration and maintenance monitoring
- Assess the availability of raw materials and their safety and environmental impact of the facility
- Support the conversion of small-scale processes into commercially viable large-scale operations
