Key Responsibilities
- Process & Code Check Requests
- Maintain positive relationship with corporate AP department
- Racing bookkeeping tasks and mutuel race day backup
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, & annual closing activities
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting support to management
- Answer phone calls and assist with general inquiries
- Assist with the purchasing process, including order management, vendor communication, and payment inquiries
- Coordinate month end inventory calculation with the Food & Beverage team
- Track capital from order to project completion and payment
- Research financial anomalies, historical transactions, and other accounting related questions
- Provide general administrative support to the accounting department, including filing, data entry, and responding to inquiries
