Job Description
Our client, a dynamic and vertically integrated general contractor with over 25 years of experience, specializes in residential new construction, including single and multi-family developments. They are currently developing over 2,500 BTR (Build for Rent) assets and seek a Civil Engineer to join their innovative team.
**This position requires employees to reliably commute to the Blue Springs, MO surrounding area. Relocation assistance is offered**
Job Description:
- Provide design and construction engineering services for new residential and commercial developments.
- Design a variety of projects in new and expanding markets, including current projects in 3 MSA’s.
- Perform field investigations and feasibility studies on new raw land opportunities.
- Plan and execute infrastructure studies, modeling, capital improvements, and asset management.
- Design utilities, grading/earthwork, drainage, erosion and sedimentation control, and overall infrastructure.
- Develop design plans, technical specifications, cost estimates, and bidding and construction phase services.
- Manage multi-disciplined projects in a dynamic environment.
- Troubleshoot and solve problems with practical solutions.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to manage resources and project delivery.
- Lead the preparation of proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and invoices.
- Oversee field crew work and CAD drafting work to ensure timely task completion.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in Civil Engineering. (5 years preferred)
- Must have new construction residential experience
- Must have infrastructure civil engineering experience
- Must be licensed in MO
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification is required.
- Ability to draft and design infrastructure for residential developments and stamp the engineering.
- Capable of value engineering and structurally stamping architectural plans.
- Experience with managing multiple projects, ensuring quality, scope, schedule, and budget adherence.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Ability to commute or relocate to Blue Springs, MO 64014.
