WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN THIS ROLE
Strategic Finance Leadership
- Execute the monthly actualization process including P&L variance analyses, insights, and issue resolution
- Own the monthly forecasting process, including projecting and explaining financial performance on a rolling 18-month basis
- Support the build of the annual budget and strategic plans
- Analyze complex financial data to identify trends, assess risks, and uncover opportunities, delivering actionable recommendations to business leaders
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, R&D and operations teams to integrate financial insights into strategic decisions
Innovation & Growth Projects
- Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate, model, and financialize innovation projects and capital investments, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives
- Lead financial analysis of productivity initiatives, quantifying potential savings and ROI to drive decision-making
Process Optimization
- Identifies key issues and weaknesses, provides solutions for improvement, and manages the implementation of system enhancements
- Manages cross-functional integration with the company business planning calendar
- Works with cross-functional teams to improve processes, set targets, develop plans, conduct analyses, and measure results
- Generates and presents strategic and tactical recommendations to senior management in support of business objectives
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Minimum Qualifications:
- Progressive experience in financial management including financial analysis, variance analysis, cost allocation, fact-finding or auditing, contract, and price negotiation
- 5 years budgeting and forecasting
Additional Required Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Ability to present information to senior leaders
- Working knowledge of all aspects of financial analysis and management
- Ability to lead others
