Overview
The department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine is seeking a full-time specialist in general academic obstetrics and gynecology to support expanding clinical services and a newer residency program. Applicants at all levels of experience will be considered.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include direct patient care, teaching and mentoring medical students and residents, and collaborating with other faculty in clinical research and academic projects.
Qualifications
- Applicants must possess an MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification or eligibility.
- Qualifications to obtain a Michigan Medical License.
- Previous faculty experience in an academic setting is preferred.
- Candidates with an interest in medical education, population health, gynecological ultrasound and implementation science are especially encouraged to apply.

WMed is fully accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education and the Higher Learning Commission. Faculty in the Department of Pathology serve as the Office of the Medical Examiner for counties throughout Michigan and northern Indiana.
