Responsibilities :
Manage the school library, ensuring it serves as a hub for learning, exploration, and collaboration.Develop and maintain a diverse collection of resources that support the curriculum and encourage reading for pleasure.Collaborate with teachers to integrate library resources and information literacy skills into classroom instruction.Provide instruction in information literacy, research skills, technology, and digital citizenship to students.Foster a love of reading and lifelong learning through engaging library programs and initiatives.Stay current with trends and best practices in school librarianship and educational technology.Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Library Science, Elementary Education, or a related field.Minimum of one year of experience working in a school setting, preferably as a librarian or educator.Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for working with students, teachers, and parents.Knowledge of educational technology tools and digital resources.Preferred Qualifications :
Master's degree in Library Science, Elementary Education, or related field.Familiarity with Common Core State Standards and other educational frameworks.Experience developing and implementing library programs and events.Job Type : Full-time
