We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing visually compelling designs that align with our brand identity and business objectives. You will work closely with marketing, product, and content teams to produce a wide range of digital and print materials, including advertisements, social media graphics, website visuals, promotional materials, and more. Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Strategic and conceptual thinking that leads to creative ideas and solutions for marketing campaigns
- Effectively visualize concepts through recommendations on relevant photography, typography, iconography and graphic elements
- Develop layouts, typography, color schemes, and other design elements to create aesthetically pleasing and effective graphics
- Execute and produce design communications for diverse media at a local and national level, including in-store collateral, direct mail, out-of-home, digital and social media, etc.
- Support local marketing initiatives by providing collateral support for events, promotions, grand openings, etc.
- Revise and optimize designs based on feedback from stakeholders, ensuring that all deliverables meet project requirements and deadlines
- Work closely with Marketing team to ensure all content, menus and graphics are consistent with current marketing strategy
- Manage creative project requests to ensure on-time delivery
- Build print-ready and digital mechanicals for all campaigns
- Proofread internal and marketing collateral at all design and pre-production stages
- Back up, file, organize and maintain creative asset and photography libraries
- Stay up to date with design trends, tools, and best practices to continuously enhance the quality of work produced.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas to improve visual communication across various projects
Desired Skills and Experience:
- 2 years working as a designer in an agency or corporate environment
- Bachelor’s degree in design or related field, or equivalent experience
- Proficient in design software including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneDrive)
- Creative thinking, self-motivated, organized and detail-oriented
- Natural communicator with strong visual and verbal presentation skills
- Positive attitude and genuine team player
- Highly organized and able to multi-task while working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong typography and layout skills
- Experience with both print and digital media
- Must have a strong knowledge of production skills to pre-flight files, follow templates, specs and all internal quality control processes
- Willingness and ability to sketch out ideas and research projects when needed
- Digital portfolio providing strong examples of past professional work and original designs
- Knowledge of web design and user experience (UX) principles is a plus
