DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in managing the field and project team successfully and collaboratively.
- Establish and maintain positive and effective relationships and communication with clients, Construction Manager, project team, consultants/architect/engineers, subcontractors, adjacent community, trade unions, and governmental agencies.
- Assist with setting up job site logistics, field coordination, and project schedule.
- Participate in the review of all project documents for constructability and content, including shop drawings.
- Maintain and update project records including RFI’s, ASI’s and as-builts.
- Assist with creating and enforcing a site-specific emergency action plan for assigned projects in collaboration with the Project Manager.
- Coordinate subcontractors.
- Coordinate building inspections, subcontractor inspections, and agencies.
- Collaborate with the Superintendent to perform daily job site walks and submit daily safety audit reports.
- Conduct and/or attend Forman meetings, pre-task meeting, safety meetings and project staff meetings.
- Assist with the management of job site manpower production and performance.
- Use project management and scheduling software effectively.
- Attend company and industry events including meetings, trainings, workshops, etc.
- Other related duties as assigned or needed.

Qualifications
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Good verbal and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to remain flexible and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to oversee and coordinate a variety of people in different roles.
- Extremely detail oriented.
- Ability to read, understand, and execute blueprints, drawings, and plans.
- Thorough understanding of legal requirements relating to construction and building sites.
- Thorough understanding of contracts, plans, specifications, and regulations.
- Ability to make intelligent and quick decisions to effectively resolve problems.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent work experience in construction required.
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Foreman, or equivalent role, in the construction industry.
- Must possess OSHA certification or be willing to obtain all mandated certifications.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds at a time.
- Must be able to access and inspect all areas of job site in all types of weather.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and insurance.
