VOLUNTEER EXPECTATIONS:
As an unpaid volunteer position in the Wofford College Athletic Department. You will comply with all Wofford College policies, procedures, and rules and regulations, particularly as they pertain to the operation of Wofford’s athletic programs. You will adhere to all compliance timelines and be accurate and thorough in any/all required documentation. You agree to follow good professional practices in the performance of your volunteer tasks and duties.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Director of Baseball Operations will be responsible for all operations related to the baseball program including, but not limited to, the responsibilities below.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Laundry - In season and out of season
Field Set up
Contact for umpires
Drag/Water Field
Study Hall Monitor
Food Set up for home and Road games
On-campus and spring break
Youth Camp/Prospect camp working
Work with Pitchers
Communicate with Brownie and be on the same page with our Pitching Coach
Give reflection pieces on what you saw for the day to Brownie
In-game- Help run and handle the pitching and defense
8:30am arrival
Letters to recruits and after-visits
Anything with shipping
Tours with recruits
Nutrition Station in the mudroom
Accompany campers to youth and prospect camp
