Duties And Responsibilities
- Prepare and communicate schedule of lounge food and beverage staff to ensure adequate coverage before, during and after performances.
- Provide training of staff to ensure efficient and enhanced customer service.
- Provide training of staff on proper food handling, sanitation and alcohol service.
- Oversee nightly lounge operations, employees, food service and customer service.
- Manage supply inventory and coordinate ordering/restocking needs with Catering Manager.
- Perform POS open & close out, make nightly deposit, manage cash reserves to ensure sufficient cash levels, coordinate cash replenishment with Catering Manager.
- Communicate with Catering Manager about daily operations and staff needs/performance.
- Coordinate and communicate with Executive Chef and kitchen team about food service.
- Communicate and troubleshoot with lounge guests, Wolf Trap Foundation leadership, and Development Department staff.
- Others duties as assigned.
- Professional presence, friendly demeanor, diplomacy, excellent people and customer service skills; ability to exercise tact, courtesy and judgment in working with all levels of donors, staff and patrons.
- Highly organized; strong attention to detail.
- Food handling/sanitation knowledge and previous food service experience.
- Ability to work nights and weekends.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office; Google Docs a plus.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality to sensitive matters.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
