Radiation Therapist – Full-Time – $12,000 Sign-On Bonus!

- Lynn Cancer Institute – Boynton Beach | 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM (Full-Time)
- Key West | Full-Time, Shift Varies
- Miami Cancer Institute | Full-Time, Shift Varies
Sign-On Bonus : $12,000!

Key Responsibilities :
Administer prescribed doses of radiation to specific body parts using linear accelerators and other radiation therapy equipmentExplain treatment plans and procedures to patients, addressing any concerns or questions they may havePosition patients and align equipment to ensure accurate treatment deliveryMonitor patients during treatment for any adverse reactions or unusual responsesMaintain detailed records of treatments administered and patient progressCollaborate with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plansPerform quality assurance checks on radiation therapy equipment to ensure proper functioning and safetyAdhere to all safety protocols and radiation protection guidelinesParticipate in continuing education to stay current with advancements in radiation therapy techniques and technologiesAssist in the training and mentoring of new radiation therapy staff membersQualifications
Requirements :
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited programARRT Certification (T) in Radiation TherapyCurrent Florida State Licensure as a Radiation TherapistBLS Certification (Basic Life Support)Minimum of 2 years of experience in radiation therapy preferredProficiency in operating linear accelerators and other radiation therapy equipmentStrong knowledge of radiation safety protocols and proceduresExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environmentDemonstrated commitment to patient care and compassionPhysical ability to lift and position patients, and stand for extended periodsProficiency in electronic medical record systemsWillingness to participate in continuing education and professional developmentPreferred Qualifications :
Advanced certification in specialized radiation therapy techniques (e.g., SBRT, IMRT)Experience with treatment planning softwareFamiliarity with quality assurance procedures in radiation oncologyAdditional Information
