Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Siding Estimator located in Delaware, OH. The Siding Estimator will be responsible for accurately estimating the cost, time, materials, and labor needed for siding projects. Additional day-to-day tasks include conducting site visits, measuring and calculating surfaces, preparing detailed proposals, liaising with clients and suppliers, and ensuring projects are completed within budget and on time. The individual in this role will ensure accuracy in bids and consistency in maintaining client relationships.
Qualifications
- Experience with estimating costs, time, and materials for siding projects
- Strong knowledge of construction principles, particularly related to siding and exteriors
- Ability to conduct site visits, measure accurately, and perform calculations
- Proficiency in preparing detailed proposals and cost estimates
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients, team members, and suppliers
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in relevant software tools for estimation and project management
- Previous experience in the construction industry, particularly siding, is a plus
- Valid driver’s license is required
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in construction estimation is a plus
