What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Assistant - Racker/Packer position at Wolkerstorfer Company, Inc.?
Summary: We are a metal finishing company that applies protective coatings to parts for the aerospace and defense industries. This is a first shift position working 4 - 10 hour days Monday - Thursday (long weekends!)
The Position:
- Inspect completed parts, confirm quantities, package safely so they don’t get damaged during transportation, and move to finished goods area for shipping.
- May also assist line operators with assorted duties such as prepping and racking.
- Experience in a plating or painting facility is helpful but not required.
- Willing to train.
