Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Interior Designer at WAinteriors in Doylestown, PA. The Interior Designer will be responsible for space planning, creating construction drawings, designing interior spaces, selecting furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E), and collaborating with architects and other team members on design projects. This role is for 6 months, an interim position, with the ability to stay on full time after 6 months.
Qualifications
- 5 years of Interior Design and Space Planning experience is required
- Experience in creating Elevations and Construction Drawings
- Knowledge of FF&E selections, ordering and tracking
- Background in Architecture a plus, but not required
- Strong attention to detail and creativity
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, or independently managing smaller projects with support
- A self motivator who is excited about their role and growing the firm
- Outgoing and positive personality who is good with clients and at industry events and networking opportunities
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and also Microsoft Office Suite
- Skilled in social media content creation and engagement
- A Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
- NCIDQ certification a plus but not required
