What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Receivable Associate position at Wolverine Fire Protection Co?
This is an entry Level position with 1 year experience required
Working under the direction of the Controller, in connection with the Accounts Receivable Supervisor, to ensure that all aspects of the accounts receivable process are efficiently and accurately performed while maintaining good relationships with customers.
Job Duties/Responsibilities for Accounts Receivable Associate:
· Process daily bank deposits for all locations.
· Perform monthly bank account reconciliation.
· Performs initial set-up of job numbers company wide.
· Prepare inspection and time and material projects billings throughout the month.
· Ensure all billings within their scope are correctly processed in a timely manner.
· Investigate and resolve inquiries, disputes and billing / payment discrepancies.
· Perform collections activities through the process of following up with customers on overdue payments
· Process lien waivers as applicable.
· Maintain fleet vehicle registrations company wide.
· Monitor quarterly Vehicle Inspection Reports.
· Answer the main telephone line and transfer accordingly.
Requirements for Associate Accounts Receivable:
· Strong communication skills with ability to communicate with Owners, General Contractors and Subcontractors regarding payment processing
· Ability to be prompt and courteous when interacting with co-workers and customers
· Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Minimum Qualifications for Accounts Receivable Associate:
· Minimum 1 year of Accounts Receivable experience.
· Understanding of general accounting principles and processing
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Microsoft Office and PDF software proficiency
Travel Requirements for Accounts Receivable Associate:
· No overnight travel is required.
Work Location Options for the Accounts Receivable Associate:
· 5 days a week in Mt Morris, MI
