Job Details
Description
· Assist in the coordination of recruitment and personnel concerns, issues and processes.
· Assist in coordinating and maintaining employee files according to the standards of the agency, MDHHS and other regulatory agencies.
· Support all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests.
· Complete termination and process exit interview as needed.
· Trouble-shoot employee claims or problems.
· Maintain complete confidentiality of personnel files.
· Provide information to employees regarding disability, worker’s compensation, WHS policies and procedures.
· Demonstrate proficiency in WHS technology platforms and applications – e.g. Paycor, Salesforce.
· Participate/attend and complete all required contractual, licensing and agency training successfully.
· Function as a mandated reporter, as required by Michigan Child Protection Law.
· Attend all required meetings.
· Other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred, High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
· Five years’ experience in dealing with staffing, payroll, benefits and insurance plans and systems.
· Excellent communication skills, decision making, and problem-solving skills
· Effective HR administration and people management skills.
· Full understanding of HR functions and best practices.
· Must be detail oriented, able to meet deadlines, self-directed and motivated.
· Willing and able to apply for and be bonded if required.
· Demonstrate proficiency in WHS technology platforms and applications.
· Must be able to handle pressure and crisis situations, when they arise, including occasional chaos and meets deadlines.
· Demonstrated capacity to effectively organize and perform administrative responsibilities.
