We are looking to fill this full time position with someone who has roofing permitting or the equivalent and the skill set to work in a fast paced environment. The permitting specialist will follow procedures from commencement to final ensuring permit documents are filled out completely, submitted, inspections called in and final permit inspection completion.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years roofing / construction permitting experience with municipalities and counties and possess excellent Microsoft office skills, communication skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively on the go under time constraints. The permit specialist will play a crucial role in supporting our daily operations.
- Verify permit documents information, Submit Permitting documents online to building departments / municipalities and track issuance progress.
- Schedule inspections.
- Maintain permit tracking excel spreadsheets.

- Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Suite - Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast paced environment

- Good work ethic, punctuality and attendance history
- Experience in the roofing or construction industry.
