About the job
We are seeking a self motivated leader who possesses the ability to coordinate all trades and activities related to the construction of commercial development projects. These projects range from offices, Churches, parks and rec projects, as well as k-12 renovations and additions. The Superintendent will be responsible for all phases of the project, from beginning to end. This role will also be required to ensure that best safety practices are relentlessly followed. The Superintendent will be responsible for bringing projects to completion on time and within budget, while maintaining superior workmanship quality for all items.
Qualifications
An associates degree or higher are preferred, but applicants without this minimum will be considered with the addition of significant relevant experience to their high school diploma
Must possess proficient computer skills and be willing and able to learn our preferred project management software
Ability to work with other team members such as the Project Manager, Architect, and Owner's Representative in a collaborative effort
Coordinate all site activities and logistics
Provide input for the project schedule
Produce daily reports to fully account for the day's activities and progress
Schedule all required inspections and ensure that all work is in the required state of completion and fully ready for the upcoming inspection
Must possess complete knowledge of the plans and specifications, including shop drawings and other submittal documents, and understand proper sequencing of work
Conduct weekly OAC meetings as well as subcontractor meetings for job coordination
Ensure a clean and orderly job site at all times
Must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass a drug test
