We're Hiring: Director of Development
Women & Children First (WCF) is looking for a passionate and driven individual to join our team as the Director of Development. If you are dedicated to making a difference in our community and have a background in fundraising, nonprofit development, or communications, we want to hear from you!
About the Role:
The Director of Development works closely with the CEO and Board of Directors to lead fundraising efforts, donor engagement, and public relations initiatives. Responsibilities include:
- Managing fundraising efforts, special events, and donor cultivation strategies.
- Overseeing donor communications, including social media and outreach.
- Building relationships with community organizations and stakeholders.
- Collaborating with the Board and Marketing Committee on fundraising strategies.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in fundraising, nonprofit management, communications, marketing, business, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Experience with donor relations and fundraising strategies.
- Knowledge of social media and marketing tools for engagement.
Performance & Compensation:
- Quarterly evaluations to assess fundraising performance and revenue growth.
- Salary adjustments may be considered based on performance.
