Chapter Support and Relationship Coordinator

The Women in Manufacturing Association (WiM) is looking for a passionate and qualified professional to join our team as the Chapter Support and Relationship Coordinator. This key role involves managing the day-to-day operations of WiM chapters, fostering chapter engagement, and assisting in the development of local events. Additionally, the coordinator will facilitate clear communication between the national organization and its chapters, ensuring alignment with the overarching objectives of the National Women in Manufacturing Association. The ideal candidate will bring exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate seamlessly with members, leadership, and external partners.

Job Overview:

The Chapter Support and Relationship Coordinator is the primary liaison between the national office and our network of local chapters, ensuring strong, effective, and positive communication, collaboration, and alignment with the organization's goals and mission. This role is critical in fostering relationships with chapter leaders, supporting chapter growth, and enhancing member engagement across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the main point of contact for chapter leaders, providing guidance, resources, and support to ensure successful operations and chapter alignment with the organization’s mission, vision, and values.
• Build and maintain positive, long-term relationships with chapter leaders, volunteers to enhance collaboration and engagement.
• Provide ongoing training, resources, and development opportunities for chapter leaders, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and tools to effectively manage their chapters and serve members.
• Monitor and maintain accurate records of chapter activities, chapter event participation and chapter performance metrics. Provide regular reports to management regarding chapter successes, challenges, and opportunities for growth.
• Assist chapters in planning and executing local events, meetings, and activities, ensuring consistency with national objectives. This may include providing logistical support, connecting chapters with speakers or resources and encouraging sponsorship support for national signature events.
• Address and resolve any challenges or conflicts that arise within chapters or between chapters and national office, maintaining a positive and constructive approach.
• Work closely with other departments, such as Membership, Marketing, and the Education Foundation, to ensure chapter-related efforts align with broader organizational strategies and initiatives.
• Promote member engagement and retention through the development of chapter-specific programs, initiatives, and communications.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Experience with a focus on member relations, community engagement, or chapter management.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work with diverse volunteers.
• Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with AMS software, database management, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Passion for the mission of the organization and a commitment to fostering community involvement.

Working Conditions:

• Full-time position with standard office hours.
• Primarily remote, except for mandatory Team Meetings and other in person meetings at management request.
• Occasional evening or weekend work for events or outreach campaigns with travel.
