With 100 locations and over 400 OB / GYNs and specialists across the country, Women’s Care provides comprehensive patient care in obstetrics, gynecology, gynecologic oncology, urogynecology, gynecologic pathology, breast surgery, genetic counseling, maternal fetal medicine, laboratory services, and fertility.
The CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) will assist the operating room surgeons and staff to assure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients undergoing surgical procedures.
- Communicate with surgeon continuously as needed about the patient’s condition and assist surgeon during operative and invasive procedures.
- Assist circulator and anesthesia provider in preparation of the patient / OR suite to include, but not limited to, foley catheter placement; tourniquet application; cricoid pressure application; gathering needed supplies / equipment for the procedure; other procedures as needed.
- Accountable for delivering quality patient care and for promoting a positive image of the company.
- Demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, and serve as a resource to the Surgical Services team.
- Demonstrate and embody the Women’s Care mission and core values.
- Compliance with all HIPAA rules, regulations, and guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
