- Communicate with surgeon continuously as needed about the patient’s condition and assist surgeon during operative and invasive procedures.
- Assist circulator and anesthesia provider in preparation of the patient/OR suite to include, but not limited to, foley catheter placement; tourniquet application; cricoid pressure application; gathering needed supplies/equipment for the procedure; other procedures as needed.
- Accountable for delivering quality patient care and for promoting a positive image of the company.
- Demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, and serve as a resource to the Surgical Services team.
- Demonstrate and embody the Women’s Care mission and core values.
- Compliance with all HIPAA rules, regulations, and guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a current Certified Surgical Technologist certification from a national certifying body or must be a Medical Graduate, Doctor of Osteopathy, or foreign medical graduate.
- BLS required.
- Minimum 2 years previous experience as Certified Surgical Technologist preferred
- Must be dependable, reliable, and punctual.
