As a Community Resource Navigator, you will serve as a vital link between individuals and the resources they need to thrive. Reporting to the Program Director, your role will focus on leveraging your social work skills to assist clients in navigating services related to workforce development, addiction counseling, and behavioral health. Your effective communication skills will enhance your ability to conduct motivational interviews and manage crises, ensuring clients receive the necessary support for their personal growth and stability. **Key Responsibilities:**
- Work with participants using trauma-informed care.
- Research resources regularly to stay up-to-date.
- Represent WomenFirst at career fairs, tabling events, and other outreach activities.
- Assist participants until their needs are met with appropriate resources.
- Document your encounters in JotForm.
- Attend weekly staff meetings.
- Participate in all training sessions.
- Choose a minimum of one weekend per month to attend "Let’s Connect" and other WomenFirst events.
- Collaborate with the team effectively.
- Attend weekly multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings.
- Demonstrate strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Be open to feedback.
- Complete your 30/60/90-day plan.
- Create and organize resources in Google Drive.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and community partners
- Proficient in motivational interviewing techniques
- Experience in crisis management and intervention
- Knowledge of Section 8 housing programs and workforce development strategies
- Knowledgeable in Resources and where to find them
- Proficient in Google, Excel, Word, Canva, and have great computer skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
